Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

School administrators are responsible for creating Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) environments for students and staff. Responding appropriately to racism, hate, and bullying in schools is the key to maintaining a safe school. Using the tools of social justice to address the issues of racism in school settings, school leaders learn how to effectively respond and manage incidents of racism in academic settings. A case-study approach is used to examine one school’s approach to addressing racism on campus. Participants examine their current plan of action to responding to racist incidents in their school setting.
