Suicide Prevention: What You Need to Know

Participants will understand their role in evidence-informed best practices for suicide prevention in the school setting, including:
  • How your personal bias plays a role in suicide prevention
  • Warning signs of suicide
  • What to say and what not to say
  • Next steps after a report of suicide
This 1-hour session can count towards your suicide prevention CEU requirement for teacher re-licensure. Be sure to sign in during the session for documentation. Certificates of attendance will be distributed after the session. You must attend the full hour to receive credit.
