#Thankyouforcallingmebymyrightpronoun: Theory to Practice Lessons on Gender Diversity for School Administrators

This interactive session introduces participants to theories related to gender-diversity and investigate current trends in gender equity. Participants will also discuss how race, class, and sexual orientation can impact gender inequality in academic settings. A case study approach will be used to discuss the legal implications for ensuring the safety of gender diverse students (and school staff/faculty). Administrators will examine research-based practices for ensuring social-emotional learning (SEL) in schools for gender diverse students.
